Thumbs up My new ride!

Well even though I haven't sold the gas cart yet I went a head and bought my new ride.

Say hello to Woodie!
He is all hand built by a very good friend of mine (Bill Carpenter)who passed away with cancer. His wife ended up selling it to me and we went and picked it up yesterday. She has had it sitting in the garage ever since he passed away and hasn't drove it. I had been friends with Bill & Brenda his wife ever since I first saw this cart at Ocean Lakes campground 4th of July parade in early 2000. Nate and his wife are in the start of the video from Texas when they came up for the 4th and stayed with us.
The frame is a older Ezgo marathon 36 volts but soon to be ....you guessed it 72 volts! A HOTROD needs to be a HOTROD!

Thumbs up Re: My new ride!

I thought so too!

Here are a few pictures yesterday when I got it home. My grandson Rhett really like it.

It has some minor body issues and some electrical issues but nothing that I can't handle. It's not been drove in she said last 8 years just sitting in her garage all this time waiting! I plan to move the F/R switch to the floor and mount a stick shift to it with a rubber boot to cover it like a old school. I have several upgrades I'm going to do to it.
The biggest thing is batteries for now.
