My ride..
So here's a few pics of my ride. Oops, forgot I bought it for my daughter! ;)
We plan to paint it metallic blue and add lights and a horn. I'll probably drop a cheap stereo in there for her. She also wants a rack with spots on top. Melted a battery terminal so I'm upgrading all the wiring, pulling the batteries I found the tray is basically 90% rust so I've got work to do there as well. We have some serious hills on our property so I might upgrade the whole power system when these batteries give up. A learning experience, in any case.. ..a |

Re: My ride..
The tray is now in better shape (see first post for "before" condition)..
A good stiff brushing, followed by a generous amount of rust converter, then rustoleum.. ..a |

Re: My ride..
Hey E ....... Use the BGW search option in here for battery terminal repair if you'd like. There are several repair posts dealing with putting a heli-coils in and continue running that battery if possible ......

Already repaired. Just got to clean off the batteries before putting them back in.. :)
Guess I should take a pic of the repair, though! Hey, how do I know exactly what model I have? The plate just says "G499".. ..a |
