Talking Just bought 2003 EZGO; Got Questions

I found this cart and bought it today. Only problem I found was corrosion on some terminals. Batteries are Carquest and was told they are 15 months old. Who makes Carquest batteries? Exide? I start the clean up tomorrow.

Is the charger a good one? I am going to clean the battery box and terminals tomorrow. Any tips on doing that?

BTW, ordered freedom chip on ebay today.

Looks fine to me

Carquest batteries are an automotive retailer brand. Probably an Exide knockoff. If it runs well and stays strong, you don't have any worries. A fresh set of cables is always a smart investment - just not the ones you get at an automotive store...

Thanks Mike. Appreciate your reply. I look forward to working on the cart. I know I will have plenty of questions about what to do and what not to do.

Must be a good cart since someone cared enough to put newer batteries in it!

The automotive cables have allot less wire strands. They won't pull the amps...
