Found the squeek in my front end!
While tearing the front end down of my project 81 club car, I got to the front spring, and this is what I found.
 Upper spring bracket plate is broke!  This is a close up of the broken Plate  Good thing I'm a machinist. I decided to make the new plate from some heavier, and wider steel. This thing will NOT be breaking any time soon.  Here's the old part and the finished new part notice the difference in width? that was the weakness in the old one. Now we're ready to be painted, and re-installed. |
