Ok, I am ready to get this project started. It is going to go slow for a while, but should pick up good in about a month. Took a few pics of the cart at my house and built my Strech front end in the living room this afternoon. going to move the whole project to a friend's house in a week or two who is an awesome fabricator. he builds race car chasis and thought this would be fun. I will probably hang the front end on the frame tommorrow but the spindles are gone to Calif to Wheelsca to have the caliper mount brackets welded onto them. They are due to be here on the 4th. Then it depends on when my new engine for my Heritage softail gets done, should be any day and I have been waiting on it for 6 months (building it to a 124 ci monster) and when I do get it back the buggy will cease for a week or two while I get it back in the bike and broken in.
But until I have it in my hands I have decided I was tired of sitting around doing nothing. So here goes.

The picture posting thing I will have to get figured out, but I will get it soon hopefully.
I had these two washers left over when I built the Strech front end. Does anyone recognize them and know where I left them out?

it might be the washer for the upper j arm and rod end that screws into the spindle.. that takes a washer

Ok, thanks guy's.
Pulled the front end off and washed up the cart. Noticed on the idler arm on the steering there was a little play in and out, none side to side, is that normal? just shoot some grease to it or is there something in there that should be replaced?
I am going to put new tie rod ends just so that I know they are good even though the ones on the cart felt good.

That's a common wear area. Usually from a cart that didn't get proper maintenance to the steering assembly (GREASE). You can press in a new bearing sleave, if needed.

There are also steering gear repair kits where you get new gears for it as well

Got the front end bolted up, checked the tracking on my package from wheelsca (spindles) via ups and it arrived at the Jax terminal which is 20 miles from my house on Tues morn at 5:34am and they are not going to deliver it to me until the 4th. I usually get it the next day after it hits the terminal. AARRGGGHHH I hate ups.
On the bright side I saw my engine for my scooter and it is almost complete and I pick it up Friday. YA HOOO

Nice build (both of them). You will like the new power plant, but if your rear tire is stock width it won't hook up very well. I rode with a guy that had a 95 incher and he spun the rear all the time. My scooter has a S&S 107 with a 280 rear tire on an 18 inch wheel, hooks up well.

Yes I am wondering about that. My 95ci engine made 109tq and 103 hp and the 150 Avon held it pretty well. I dont know about 150 hp and tq. although I already have the fender hanging in my shed and a 5.5 inch rear wheel to where I can install a 200 pretty easily and if the belt does not hold and I have to go to a chain that iss exactly what I will do. The engine is done except today we are going to machine a billet adapter to go from the S&S super G manifold to the 48 Mikuni carb. I should bring it home tonight and put it back in the frame tommorrow.
