Default The one that popped my cherry! First cart.

Here are some pics of a cart I just bought to ride around my property. I thought it would be a small investment, HA! My first love is my Harley so this is just something to run around the yard and drive my daughter in(if I get it running). Its an EZ-GO and from the man# it seems to be an 82. I assume it has been lifted. It had a windshield with a nice Harley decal but when my buddy was bringing it to me a bird hit it and broke the window.

Fatboy, you are going to love this stuff! I have played with everything from KOS drag cars to R/C monster trucks and anything in between. After my first purchase, HOOKED! Won't be long you will be looking for ways to modify!

So far, I have put 2 new batteries in it. Checked the voltage today on the other 4 and seems it would be best to change the whole pack. As far as the problem I posted in the EZ-GO electric section. I can definitely see this hobby becoming addictive. Still trying to decide what direction I want to go with it. First thing is to get it running! Then that wood box has got to go! Other than that I'm open for ideas. Thanks!

What do you mean "becoming addictive"? It IS addictive! And that is one reason why we love it so much. It looks like you have an early Marithon, 36 volt system, probably with resistor coils. These old metal bodied Marithons were tanks. There is a lot you can do with it, you just need to decide what exactly you are going to use it for. On the hard surface gives you some options, thru the fields gives you other options, but ruff terain and you have another whol set of build options to look at. But yea, that box needs to go. Kids always seem to love to ride and drve these buggies. Good luck on your decision and check with our site sponsers for parts before you go anywhere else.

Yeah baby!! Got it running! 3 new batteries, 4 guage wire& copper connectors, put a new positive wire coming out of the charge receptacle and cleaned everything up. My daughter loves it!
