My new/used E-Z-Go
Don't know how I did on this purchase and unfortunately I did not find this site until after I bought the cart - and learned how to read the manufacturers code
I thought I was buying a 2002 36V with 2 year old batteries. Turns out I bought a 98 with 5 year old batteries. The cart supposedly was lightly used by a cart community resident in Florida, until he moved to a new community that required all tan Club Cars ??? The pictures don't show it as bought because I had to remove some items to get it in my trailer. It's red, I like the color. The seats are like new under the covers. It has a hard top, 5 segment mirror, cooler, bucket for "divot sand" ( I guess, I am not a golfer). Wheel covers too. Front and rear lights that don't work (fronts), intermittent horn. Overall it it looks pretty good. I'm not sure how much rust is considered normal on a cart, but there is some where I would expect it. |

Re: My new/used E-Z-Go
Craigs list ad - he wanted $2495, I paid 2200, thinking it was a 2002. To be honest, had it been listed as a 98 I would not even have gone to look at it.

But the voltages are all fairly even. It seems to run good, but I don't really know how it should run. Last cart I drove was labor day weekend and that was a 48V regen cart. Quote:
Needs a rear $20 bumper too. I forgot to add in the 1st post, it also has a foul weather canvas and a big ugly fan (that is off already) |

Re: My new/used E-Z-Go
Just wondering. The same thing happened to me 2 months ago.Found it on craigslist,it was listed as a 2006 ezgo txt.Come to find out it is a 1998 but was restored in 2006.It is in good shape but i don't think the guy took care of the batteries properly.I only get about a mile on them,so i am replacing them this up coming weekend.I paid 2300.00 for it and now another 600.00 for batteries.oh well live and learn.Having fun customizing it anyway.
