Help me build my Yamaha
Main use of this cart is form my mom to use in the yard so it has to have a bed on the back for her BUT some weekends at the race track for me and it needs a rear seat.
I WANT THE CART TO BE NICE first off. I thought about and folding rear set and use a platic type bed that I can bolt on for her. Im going with 12" wheels and no lift but would like 18" to 20" tires. Im having trouble finding 20" even thou Ive heard ok people talking about them. Advice please! |

Re: Help me build my Yamaha
Buddy I can't help you with the build, but this might work for a back seat. Then you could bolt the plastic box in on top of the flipped seat
Nice car by the way!! |

Re: Help me build my Yamaha
My latest idea is to but a bed in the back and if some one want to ride back there then they can set on it like you would a pickup truck with the gate down. Heck of a lot cheaper going that rout

Re: Help me build my Yamaha
You mean something like that? It doesnt fold down into a cushioned seat, but its a bed per say and the back folds down similar to a tailgate of a truck. Why dont you want a lift? |

I dont like the idea of a 250 pound guy setting on the back of that box. I dont believe its braced well enough..

Re: Help me build my Yamaha
Marc, I made the seat, I didn't want the big clunky side rails. And I wanted more of pick-up than a back seat. The seat bottom was suppose to only be 1" foam, but it ended up being 2" when I picked it up. I wanted expanded metal for weather proof.
The paint is all 2010 Corvette, Volicity Yellow, and Cyber Gray Matalic, (all paint). I thought the colors came together great! The gray changes color (black to silver gray) in the sun at different angles! Sorry for the hi-jack, maybe we should private message. Good luck Mike |
