Question Workhorse cowl and seat cover material

Hey guys and gals, had a question about the workhorse cowls. Are they, or have they ever been metal? I've got a 1997 Medalist with the metal body, and would like to get a workhorse cowl to replace the current one.

Also, what is the material type and thickness of the seat covers? I'd like to get some material in the John Deere yeller (yellow)

Thanks!

Bret

Any 4 to 6 oz material will do. I was able to find 'marine vinyl' which was about 6 oz. Of course the thicker it is - the harder it is to work with. Good luck with finding JD yellow, I'm sure it is out there. Try the tractor sites like

Those ST cowls are made of plastic just like the txt cowl, they have never been made of metal. It should fit right on your cart with no problems.
