Re: New project
Thanks! Lights go in next and I'm looking at how I might put a rear seat on. I dont like the standard seats you can buy. I'm looking at building something "U" shaped where the rider sits on the fender. It measures out pretty good. I just have to figure out how to mount it so it's removable. I would like to build a little bed to haul things in and be able to swap them around.
Paint is definitely in the plans. I used to do some airbrush work for a chopper show a million years ago. Maybe I still " have it"? |

Re: New project
Very nice Put How does it handle? Got to love the blacked out aluminum top frame supports. The tan seats top really looked good with the red metallic bodies that came from the factory. Can't wait to see your build of the rear seat set up.

Re: New project
Thanks SB, she handles great! A lot better than I expected and I'm amazed at what she'll do off-road. Very stable and a better ride than stock.
The seat is a work in progress. My wife does upholstery and it will take a little time to get her warmed up to the idea. She's gone from " your nuts" to" that's pretty cool" since the lift kit. I have to pick the right time to approach this little seat job. You know the drill. I've been studying your body work on your cart. Did you do that yourself? |
