Newest Toy
I picked up a 89 Club Car DS.The guy was asking 450(way low) for it and I did not have money so I asked if he would trade a Glock 17 I had for it and WALA!!! I have it.Was not getting any use out of the gun .It has 5 new(1 yr old) interstate workaholics in it and 1 dead what ever kind.It has all new electrics and came with 2 chargers.2 new tires. I am going to put a lift kit in it and would like to upgrade to solid state electrics.
does anyone know if a 3 hp 48 volt motor will bolt up to this? it has a 36 volt motor. If not I may see what I can trade for the 48 volt motor. |

Re: Newest Toy
This is funny because I was thinking of traiding off a newer marlin 336 for a DS that was ready for paint without batteries.

Re: Newest Toy
If you are going to convert to 48v, keep the 36v motor in it. You will get 30% more speed and torque. The motor should last for a long time.

Re: Newest Toy
and it sounds like you need a new set of batteries too. workaholic is not a deep cycle battery.

Re: Newest Toy
They are deep cycle and I may get one due to lift kit expense ,,,will be up gradeing to 48 v at a later date. I just reread your post Doug ,,,but I thought they had deep cycle printed on them will check later would may some choices easier if they are not.
