A 1977 Harley build /upgrade
Hope this doesn't offend to many members. Owner wanted a Harley, in tribute to his dad, he was a the first HD bike and golf car dealer in Washington. We just wanted it "dependable", so a Yamaha G16 engine/tranny and swing arm will be grafted in. Lots of pix's. Maybe it will help someone else in the future. Body and paint/chrome was started a while ago.

The frame mount was the easy part kinda, the brake pedal/accelerator pedal assy was a not.

Forgot about the rear shocks, floor board panels. Shift cable position. Engine in place.

Spent a day and a half on the project, next to plumb fuel system, rest of wireing. Sorry to say the "Jakes" exhaust and "jetted carb" wont fit.

Re: A 1977 Harley build /upgrade
Well almost done. Is now wired (except for dash piece, still at the painter, will then mount ignition switch/low oil lite and choke cable), fuel system plumbed, carb/cables/air box installed (and with a 1/2 of space between the body), seats mounted. Just needed to order a smaller group 27 battery and add some gas...and it's a runner. I'm shure the old steering system will be the downside of driving it. Had to order some other rims and tires, the 12 x 8's hit the front bumper when turning
