Here is a 2006 Precedent with AC drive and a Swamp cooler on the roof....lol this is a SoCal golf cart

These are out of the Country Club and they really do play golf there.

Swamp coolers use water running across a coil to remove heat. Or, it can be plates with water running across it with a fan pulling air threw it producing cool air.

The big shop fans that you see that you hook a water hose up too, that is a form of a swamp cooler.

There may be more styles, but they all work the same

They work on the principle that evaporation cools the air. Early desert dwellers around the globe hung cloth in their windows draped into a water filled trough. Water wicked up the cloth and the breeze was cooled as it went thru it.... these have a paper pad and a 12v water pump & fan... they work in arid climates.

A lot of those options were available on the old Western carts.
