Just a farm cart that turned into a project
A few months back I decided that I wasn't using the "Tijuana Taxi" anymore and was going to sell it. I came across someone wanting to trade a Club Car carryall turf 2 for something a little different.
I was in need of just a farm cart to run around the property. She wasn't much to look at and figured "what the heck". So I traded him even up. I started to clean it up and go through it as I wasn't sure what I had. As it turned out it was a 2008 Carryall Turf 2 with about 800 hours on it. I was shocked and tickled as the same point. Well, then I thought to myself that a 2008 should not look like a wreck and hunted out a used front clip from a local cart shop. I also got some kewl wheel covers too. In the meantime, I was using it as a work cart. Then one day, I found a lift kit on craigslist. I didn't plan on doing anything else to the cart the cart. But, what could I do? I have to compete with you guys, so on it went. I couldn't leave well enough alone. I then decided that after the lift, I wanted a front brush guard. As I was building it, I incorporated a half windshield frame with a tinted windshield. The cart worked on the farm for a little while as I tried to figure out what else I wanted to do. I know, I know, those wheels have to go. Remember this was only suppose to be a farm cart. Just to work around the property and do its job. Crap! This site is dangerous and should have a warning posted on it. This has been a transformation that has taken 6-9 months. Again, this wasn't really a project, but this is what I ended up with. This is where the "Honey Wagon" stands today.........Why the "Honey Wagon"? What else do you haul around a farm??? |

Man that looks great. Question... did you cut out the front fender flare install because of the brush guard or you just didn't want it... Still looks GREAT. Nice job.
