My Club Car shift handle
Here is a picture of my new shift handle. A friend machined the aluminum adapter. Let me know what you think.

Re: My Club Car shift handle
Sure you can get one in any brand. It is just a mini beer tap handle. The hardest part is getting someone to machine the adapter to go on the cart.
Mine only cost me a case of beer. |

Hmm. Looks good but is it functional and does it not get in the way?

Re: My Club Car shift handle
The beer tap handles are on ebay and other sites. The thread size at the bottom is standard. The mini handles will work better because they are shorter, about 7 or 8 inches tall. Use whatever height is not hitting you in the leg. Pull your shift handle off and you will have to make or have someone make a piece to go over the shaft and have a threaded nipple for the beer tap to screw onto. The supply of tap handles is huge, some cheap some not so cheap.

Re: My Club Car shift handle
It is very functional. It is actually easier to use than the stock handle.
The handle is much easier to reach. I think my handle is about 7.5 inches tall. It is a mini handle,I do not think you will be able to use a full size tap handle. |
