Re: My '99 Club Car
Gorgeous. I am so jealous. Is that an A-Arm lift or a long travel?

Re: My '99 Club Car
Looks great...
Tell me about the tilt steering column. Is it from a car or a custom unit made for a car? |

Re: My '99 Club Car
Welcome to BGW. That cart is awesome!!! Love the paint job. Is that dash custom made or did you purchase it someplace? I would love to see some close up pictures of that.

Re: My '99 Club Car
How is the steering on this cart at higher speeds? Does it ever feel loose or stay pretty straight? Just curious with that frontend. Most of them give a great ride with excellent handling.

Re: My '99 Club Car
Thanks for the nice comments. The Dash is fiberglass and comes unpainted. It bolts right on to the stock Club Car. It fits two speakers, a stereo and two panels for all the lights ans switches you could want. The steering column is a copy of a 1970's GM modified to fit the car. It comes chrome and includes the tilt lever and turn signal lever. As for the front suspension, the reason I was able to talk the wife into spending more money is because the original 6 inch lift (not long travel) was squirelly as hell and unsafe. I was afraid to drive it down hill! The long travel kit fixed all that. Now it's very stable and tracks straight as an arrow. All of these mods were purchased from Prestige Motorsports in Temecula Ca. Check out their Website and you will see some very cool cars. Ask for Mike the owner. He's a nice guy and very helpful.

Re: My '99 Club Car
That steering column guys is the IDIDIT tilting column. It's a very pricey unit from what I have seen. I have talked to select members that have them and some local buddies that run the column and they said it's worth every penny. I have seen these units sold for as little as $795.00 all the way to $1095.99. But they make them for the big 3 brand golf carts!
Hope this helps Colton |
