88 ezgo
Hey all just posting a pic of my new project, never done up a cart before. it a 1988 ezgo gas model.need to figure out a motor swap since my block grew feet and disappeared off the trailer. any ideals or advice would be greathttp://www.buggiesgonewild.com/images/smilies/help.gif

One thing that you need to consider is that to reverse your cart the engine was started backwards. This is a unique feature of a two stroke engine. If you want reverse you will either need to fit a 2 stroke or replace the rear axle (which is where the reverse gear is). Of course if you don't care about reverse then there are a plethora of suitable engines out there and you could make a very nice cart with a 18hp Vanguard twin or similar

wow, that is a real beauty nice work. i love the custom windsheild and bumper. hard to imagine mine looking that good thanks what size tires and rims are on it

Those are 12" rims with 23" tires. Converted to 48 volts and will run about 21 mph.

Believe it or not, but its rust-o-leum Burgundy. I painted the plastics with krylon fusion burgundy. Although, now the fusion is turning a different color. Oh well.
