Re: Just thought id share this
What kind of motor do you have
I just got done putting a old snow moblie engine in a old columbia cart looking to do the body soon I cant post the link yet but look up golf cart hole shot its a 15 sec video taken with a phone so it wasnt a great upload need to make a wheelie bar it hits the trailer hitch and comes back down so hard the wheels bonce back off the ground even under full throttle |

I got a rotax 503 i just rebuilt from the crank up.i GPSed it at 46 and i still got the throttle set to 3/4 opening for break in. Thats one reason i put the wheelie bar on because it comes down so hard. If you have a hitch it would be cool to utilize that somehow and make it removeable so u can still tow thout the bar being on.

Re: Just thought id share this
Wow clean install
looking for a front fiber glass body part now and going to hopefully have the project totally done soon. My engine came out of a old Yamaha 300 snowmobile I think it was a 79 I am not sure if it is a 300cc or 340cc I have not GPSed it yet you can see I was testing it out in a warehouse and don't think I will be able to top her out in there but will give it a try LOL Did you used the cart or snowmobile secondarily clutch ? I used the cart but feel if I used the snowmobile one i would have even more bottom end The cart one is 8 inches the sled one is 10 inches Also did you build you wheelie bar or use one off a car? I was going to to make one that bolts to the trailer hitch but worried if it doesn't have any movement in it like yours it is still going to just hit the wheelie wheel hard then come back down hard going to whip up one anyway I guess its better than throwing sparks Do you have any more pics posted of your build on here anywhere? Would love to see more your cart looks great here is what the trailer hitch looked like after that launch |
