Question shocks

how much lift can u go up before u need to replace shocks

Some lifts use the stock shocks. It would depend on which lift you use.

A lot of lifts will use spacers on top of the shocks (especially for the rear). If your going with 6 or more inches, I would probably suggest a good set of quad shocks or something in that neighborhood.

I take the lift kits don't come with Shocks.? I f so Haow much do a set of shocks cost?

Basic shocks can cost $50 a pr and more for beter quality. Buy yourself a good quality lift kit and it will have new shock mounts which will allow re-use of the old shocks. Afterall most lift kits keep the old suspension and shocks. They just remount the body higher......

Even my "cheap" 6" spindle lift came with shock extensions. When you order your lift ask if it comes with extensions or new shock or if you will need to buy taller shocks.
