Go Gators!
Almost finished with the Florida Gator cart. 2009 Precedent, 2012 Trojan 6-8 Volts batteries,6" Jakes lift, new body, roof, rear seats and covers. Just added the 12" Vampires with 22" tires. It's basically a ground up build. All she needs is some Gator graphics! Any suggestions, tweaks or add ons?
Glad those 4-12 volts are gone and these are in. |

Re: Go Gators!
Hey that looks great! The one question I have for you is did you make the battery swap or was it factory? I have a 2005 lifted precedent with those 12 volts in it and it never last the day looking to change them over to get more run time from my cart!!!!!!!!!

Re: Go Gators!
The 2008.5 and newer battery box is set up for either the 4-12 volts or 6-8 volt batteries. I had a 2006 that I was going to do the "free" battery swap listed in the forums, when I ran across this 2009.

Re: Go Gators!
Thanks, is there an easy way to switch mine over or should just look for a newer one to start over on?

Re: Go Gators!
Hey Thanks so much I just got done printing it off and now I`m gonna study the work and see how mine can be done. The only thing I will have to work around is that I have a 500amp. controller for my upgrade and it`s much larger than the stock one but I think I can make it work!!!!
