I finally got the thing running, we installed a motor from a late 70's Marathon in to my 87 Marathon. We disconnected the wires from the internal starter generator and attached our external starter generator to the engine. I used all the original wiring for the system including the coil. Also used the comet clutch from the original motor on the older motor. Next thing is some nice bright orange paint and reinstalling the canopy. We are gonna install some lights on the canopy and some new tires and wheels along with some custom black and orange seat covers.

Its getting closer. It finally got a coat of some fresh paint, got some new wheels and tires and lights. Waiting on the seats to come out of the upholstery shop and a few more vinyl graphics. But other than that its looking good. Its Grandpa's toy. The pictures dont show the new wheels and tires.
