New hunting cart project
This is my first cart project. Its a 03 CC Regen, 48 volt. I bought a few weeks ago and have been wondering why I havent already had one. I painted the camo that weekend. Got a feeling my 4 wheeler isnt going to get much use anymore. My main usage for the cart will be hunting but I cant seem to stay off of it. Still got a lot left to do like lights, flip flop rear seat, brush guard and winch and all the other bells and whistles. Looking forward to it all.
Kinda made a boo boo and painted the turkey and deer on the front cowl without thinking about the cross bar for the roof rack. Oh well, fix it later. |

Think the deer-turkey with the crossbar looks good. Might scare the game if they saw that this is you deer turkey cart. Did you use stencils for that paint job or was it free hand? Looking good good luck on the hunt.

Re: New hunting cart project
Thanks. I made the stencils myself and airbrushed them onto the cart with some acrylic flat black. The pics were some I downloaded and printed out then I used some transperant plastic cutting board material over the top to cut out with my exacto knife. After I was finished I went over the cart with a couple coats of clear to protect it. By the time hunting season is hear there wont be any luster to it so Im not worried about that.

New cart turktrax...
I once painted a VW Baja Beetle in camo, took it deer hunting, and dang near lost it in the woods. Just Can't beat a good camo paint job for them hunting buggies and yours looks good man. Welcome to the nut house and keep us supplied with photos of what you do to it and on the game you bag with it. |
