Default getting there

Finally got my lift installed, now I need some 28 inch tires to fill the void in fender wells (lol)

Took the kids in the parade on the 4th back in my hometown, boy were the fellows who spend 10 grand plus on their side by sides impressed when I climbed everything they did. so far, I've replaced all cables with 2/0(overkill, whats that?) running four max yellow big 12volt batts, newer seat w/back and bed, longer top to give the kiddos shade, 22inch tires(soon to be replaced) and a paint job that I didn't like so another good sanding. I bought the cart from a deer lease for $600, the genuis spray painted every inch camo, the electronics appeared like new. any suggestions on a beefed f/r switch, maybe where I can get a good one. My next upgrade is going to be a motor/controller combo, just trying to decide which setup I want. I want torque and a decent top end, don't really want to pop wheelies or go faster than high 20's, mainly want to be able to keep cruising speed loaded up hills and such, the cart is pretty much used in any terrain that doesn't have a gate to keep me out. maybe some of you d.c. whizzes can give me suggestions.

Is that an All Sports lift? Looks great!

The F/R has always been a problem. You could always go all out and use a reversing contactor....then you could flip a switch for reverse.

P.S. There is this stuff called "Eagle one etching mag cleaner". Its about $6 a bottle and can be found at most auto parts store. It works wonders on those Club car frames.

That's what I hear, as we speak I am sketching a drawing for new brackets made from 3/8 steel with extra 1/2 inch bolts. I also need to raise the rear about 3 1/4 inches to match front, was planning on extending the front brace for the leaf springs to try to match rear shackles. Any suggestions on this?

Is the reversing contactor more reliable than a beefed f/r? I havent had any problems with my current switch, but I am working with PQ on a custom bad boy with 72 volt 500 amp controller so looking for ideas for upgrade. I don't like the way my switch rotates now especially with the 2/0 lugs.I am also gathering parts for a custom front disc brake conversion. The lift is dixies super sport 7.5 inch, and I do like it, I will probably go with the long travel on my next build so my wife doesn't complain as much when I hit the trails or whatever else I find. But for the money it sure beats all other lifts I've seen. We have probably 20 custom carts here on my job and mine sits the tallest and rides the best. My lead welder is having new super strong z-brackets made with additional bolts and 3/8 steel, do you think that will be sufficient? He is going to add probably two more inches the the brackets but I dont think you could damage them if you tried. Should I go 1/2 plate? I'm going to run 29" tires.

look at the rear support that comes with the 10" lift kit from all sport lift kits it's a pipe that has i eye on front end that bolts in front hanger and you take back shackle off and it bolts there and new tabs on pipe to re center rear Axel in center of wheel tub and give you about 2 to 3 " lift because as you lift with spring it moves wheel forward as for front brake 4 wheeler disk will work with some mods i just use HD F & R
