Best Yamaha lift kit not on the market. Maybe we should start putting them on the market as the best "budget" lift out there. |

I built it. $10 for a receiver tube from Harbor Freight, $50 for new front shocks off a Honda 400EX. Cut the lower shelf off my smaller welding table for the 1/4" plate steel and welded it up. Pachanga came up with the lift design I slapped it together. Took me about 4 hours start to end once the shocks arrived. For the rear I lowered the shock mount to match the front after I finished it. I also lowered the front of the engine cradle by welding in a longer shackle. For steering I cut my tie rods in 1/2 and sleeved it with longer thicker steel. Been running it HARD for over a year now and have 0 complaints. Plus with the front hitch backing up a trailer is like nothing else. Once you do it you will never go back to backing up. So to sum up $60 in parts, 4 hours of labor, 8 1/2" taller, 6" wider and 3" longer wheel base, 24" tires and 0 regrets other then not doing it sooner.
