Default our shop "cart"

This is our shop "cart" we use for road calls on the golf course and inside the resort where I work.It is the diesel version with the kubota 3 cylinder. We were trying to get a polaris ranger but with the contract that disney has with toro and club car, that didn't happen. We ended up with this instead.I must say I am very impressed. We have pulled completely submerged workmans and mowers from ponds with out the tires even thinking of spinning. It has been tested to say the least. So far no problems. It is noisey though.

I'd be interested in some pictures of the motor / rear diff. I'd like to see how the factory hooked up the diesel engine & drivetrain.

Thanks

The motor sits in straight, just as a regular car.It has a Driven clutch on the back of the motor. The belt runs to a transmission(I call it a transfer case) and it drives a driven clutch. The bottom of the transmission has an output shaft on the front and rear for both drives. There is a sensor of somesort that senses wheel speed differences(between the front and rear) I think and it controls the four wheel drive. It is a 25 mph pulling machine and with 4 wheel disc,it will stop on a dime.I would love to take it out to the property my dad hunts on but Mickey Mouse won't let me.I'll try to get pics. The clutches and belt are in a sealed housing supposidly to keep it dry so you can't really see any of it.

Not to shabby work /shop vehicle....most us us are stuck with old cars we've built to do the job. It seems Mickey has deep pockets! Dave

no lease. Our shop(division) actually bought it.I'm not sure on the price but I know it was lower than 15k.I took it out and had some fun on it after we got it.I climbed a stairway up a building there just to see if it would do it.I was really impressed after crawling over a downed pine tree that was at least 10-12" diameter. They have a 4 seater version of this at one of the water parks that recreation uses but it is gasoline, honda 20 horse I believe.

Thanks for the pics. They really help. I was trying to figure out how they get the motor to face forward but still drive the wheels. Looks like they have a pretty slick transfer case setup. I am assuming there is a belt drive clutch inside that transfer case??

Thanks again. You have a nice cart there.
