Default Funky little truck!!

So I traded my sparky for this cool funky little truck yesterday. I know that there are hardly any aftermarket parts/accessories for these, if there are any at all, but it has an engine & a suspension system, so it can be upgraded. I haven't decided what my plans for it are exactly, but I think I'm going to play off the fact that it really looks like a mini-truck. The height of the top makes it look a little unproportional, but I think adding a higher diamond plate bed will even it out. I'm not too fond of the Chevy orange with ugly yellow & green stripes either, so a good sandblasting & paint job are in the future. Any ideas, suggestions, gripes, complaints or experience is gladly appreciated and welcomed.

Isn't it?! The fact that it is so different is what appealed to me.

I love it man. That is way cool!

I would leave the bed alone and make a bed over it. That way u could slide long stuff under the other one and have a lid built that would cover both. The top could be for tools and such that you lock and the other for just about anything else.

Does it have a fan inside the cab to move air? It seems like in hot weather it might get a little warm in there if not.

Here's another member's thread on a complete rebuild of one similar to yours:

Andy,
Thats a cool idea, but I'd like to install some rear facing seats. The previous owner has already installed brand new seat belts.

Scott,
It doesn't have a fan, but I've seen numerous heater/cooler combo's that would work.
