My gas club car with 4 rows...people mover
It's a mini-business. I have drivers that I rent the cart to and they move people around. When it's not rented...I drive it to subway, grocery store, bank, etc.
Such a blast! Just bought it and trying to make it better. Welds for roof were poorly done so I had welder redo them and put in gussets for support. I'm a new member so my posting is severely restricted at the moment. |

Re: My gas club car with 4 rows...people mover
I am thinking about building a limo or two to rent out. Here in KY where I live I have had a few ppl want to rent my G8, but the wife says no, since it is supposed to be hers. So I am just going to build some. Could you maybe sent me some more pics in PM? I Have 3 Club cars that I am thinking of stretching. Pics of the seat set ups, frame extensions. Anything will be helpful. Also if I may be so nosey, how much do you rent it for? Just Private message me. Thank you so much, been looking for someone on this forum that rent carts out.

Re: My gas club car with 4 rows...people mover
Thanks guys! And it runs/drives great for the most part. Turning around is sort of a bia because it has such a long wheel base. Turning corners and stuff is easy, but when you're trying to pull a U-turn to pick up people on a more narrow road...it's 3-point turn.
Riley Auto- I'll PM pics when I'm home to take them, but I didn't do any stretching or anything. I believe it's factory length. I'm working on the pricing structure, but I'd like to clear ~$200-300/week from it for rentals. Drivers can gross ~$200-800/night here in AZ. If you're a girl...double that. And you can bet your butt they're not reporting those tips to the govt. For me, it's just fun because I always have a free ride to the bar, and it's nice passive income. It pays for me to drink and put little additions on the cart. I don't feel bad spending $250 on a couple new batteries if I get $300 that weekend. EDIT: This forum has the dumbest restrictions on posting for new users. It's making me jump through so many hoops to participate, it makes me want to leave. |

Just get a few posts under your belt and it's all good to go. Doesn't really take too long to get your post count up, it really is a great site so hang in there.

Welcome to the site... I can't remember any site I've been to that doesn't require several post before just getting to do anything on it. Got to make sure you're legit. :)

Re: My gas club car with 4 rows...people mover
I used the 'at' symbol to reference specific users I was posting to, and it caused BGW to think I was posting a link, and I have to wait 7 days before I can post a link...which is also frustrating because I can't link hi-res images via an image sharing site.
I'll stick around, just mildly frustrated about the linking and stuff because it basically says I can't participate for 7 days. |

What size motor is in that thing? I'm guessing they come with the FE350 maybe?
