Thinking about selling the G2
I am trying to make up my mind if I am going to keep the G2 or the UTV. My problem is timing and coming up with a price. Here in GA this time of year the UTV should sell pretty easy. Now that the G2 is done, I am getting my ideas ready for my next project. The UTV would actually be of more use because it is multi-functional.
Does anyone know of a good way to come up with a price for a custom buggy? NADA and KBB are of no use in this case. |

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
Ok...I take it from the silence that nobody wants me to sell the Monster Buggy. Is it because of the tramp stamp on the rear?

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
I would imagine the only way to come up with a value is to compare it with whatever else there is out there being sold. Start looking for similar carts in similar condition, with similar features. Once you figure out what the average price is out there, then think about whether or not thats a number you can live with.
Your talking about that red lifted G2 in your profile pic? Stock engine? I'd guess around $2k, maybe $2500? More if the tramp with the stamp is hot...... |

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
I thought about that and talked to a friend who owns a vinyl lettering/sign business. He says that he can show me how to remove the letters without damaging anything. The cart "tatoo" was an impulse purchase but I'm thinking about taking it off. Sort of like a condom. It works for the original owner but nobody else would want it

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
. I agree,$2-2500 range sounds like a good start. My Dad just sold his Marathon with 16hp Twin and 22" tires for $2500,without any trouble,so it was probably too cheap.

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
If the tat is just vinyl, a heat gun works best but a hair dryer will do. Just get it warm and peal. Wear gloves... Hot vinyl is like napalm..
As for the price, it is hard to say. In this market you just need to look around and see what others are selling for and base on that.. Got specs on it ? |

I'm broke as hell William, but I can trade a good, slightly used kidney.

Re: Thinking about selling the G2
Ok...for all the hecklers out there. I took the tramp stamp off the rear of the cart. Borrowed the wife's hairdryer to warm them up and they peeled right off. No sticky residue or outlines. Guess they were not on long enough for that.
