My tribute to dad(WWII vet) My new ride!
I took a 1988 gas ezgo and fabbed the new jeep body using sheet metal, steel, and wood! In my garage! Tires purchased from Specialty Tires (reproduction "army mule" tires) Look closely and you can see some of the original ezgo steel body. Dash and Grille are wood! Luckily the tires fit 10" golf cart wheels. Used 1/2" conduit to fab canopy top supports and broke out the wife's sewing machine to try my hand at sewing and making the canvas top! Success!!! What do ya'll think?

Bought the tires from Specialty Tires of America,Inc. Military(NDT) non-directional tires size 7.50-10NHS. Fits 10" golf cart wheels; I used 6" wide rims! About 6 months ago, I paid I think $109 a piece. For the look I wanted, I just had to get the spare!

stay tuned for some of the build pics. I'll post later! Was fun to build, but frustrating at times due to not having the expensive sheetmetal forming equipment I could have used.

how tall are the tires then? I love those. that is a cool build. What people do with these carts never ceases to amaze me.

If I remember correctly, tires are 23.8" tall. You'll have to check the website I listed previously. See above! Thanks!
