Default Golf cart to WWII jeep conversion build

Here we go, as I promised! These are the build pics I took showing the progression of steps to building my WWII Jeep from a 1988 ezgo gas golf cart (metal body).

I used plexiglass for the windshield, hinged at top of windshield frame(piano hinge), glued on magnets to bottom corners of glass to hold windshield in place when in lowered position. I used a folding furniture chest lid support bracket to hold windshield in open position. I also later added some motorcycle mirrors as side view mirrors. Throughout the build I re-purposed several items, such as the plastic trashcan as the glove box! (What can I say, it works!) Had a lot of fun with this build! I appreciate the requests for the build pics. I got carried away at times and forgot to take photo's. Any questions out there, I would be proud to answer!

Oh, yeah! I used a 6" body lift kit and 2" spacers on the front hubs to make the tires more even front to back. Interestingly, I didn't notice that the width between the front wheels and the width between the back wheels was different on this ezgo until later in the build.
