Default FL street legal rxv

Well I've been a long time lurker on BGW, but I figured I would contribute a little as my rxv is now basically street legal.

So the back story. I bought the cart for Christmas this past year and have been modding it ever since. It was a bone stock '09 Ezgo RXV. I have installed the ultimate street legal light kit, license plate holder, as4 dot windshield with wiper, seat belts, mirrors and that awesome reflective triangle. According to the FL LSV paperwork this is all I need besides some pictures and weight slip. Planning on taking it to have it inspected in the next couple weeks and I should be good to go.

And then I'll be ready for all to cool stuff. Plans for the future are:
New paint, Jakes 6" lift, new wheels and tires, rear seat and seat covers. Then maybe some tunes and a winch if I get a little froggy.

I will post some pics tonight that show my progress. Cheers

Street legal...... That's cool.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with as your build progresses.

Did you modify motor to get to 21 but not over 25? They will require receipts as well for work performed. And be sure you get the rear quarterpanel reflector stickers, a lot of people forget that.

and license plate holder must illuminate.

Good luck - street legal is AWESOME!

Dela, I have the motor turned all the way up and I'm getting 20mph. I'm hoping I can slide by with that until I install the lift and larger tires. I do have the illuminated license plate holder as well as the reflectors.

Thanks for the comments. I will post pics tonight

They did NOT check my speed, no. Never even pulled it off the trailer.
