bulldog limo's first ride
i have been looking around the site and looks like it's nice to put up some before and after pics. i figured would put a few up and tell how and where i found it.
found it on cragslist for 1500.00. it is a stretched club car. not sure what year model. the guy told me it was early 90's. it has the resistor band and 5 solenoids. supposedly it was stretched by bad boy buggies, ( sounded a little strange to me ). it had the radio with remote 2 6x9's and 2x4" in it. sounds excellent. it has brand new battery's and new heavy duty wiring. it has the lift kit with the big tires. new lights front and rear. has a full top ( which is cracked and needs to be replaced or fixed). has the rear view mirror and front windshield. all and all i think it was a good deal, just needs a little tlc to sharpen it back up and some new modifications to bring it into the new age. ( controller, and bigger motor is first thing i am thinking ) maybe with modification to the rocker style fwd and reverse instead of the flat plate style. if this is a better style. those questions will come in time. attached the only picture i have took so far! will take some more before i dig into it dramatically!!!! |

Re: bulldog limo's first ride
LOL yeah it's good so far. i had to do a little to it to get it going. the guy i bought it from was a college kid and had limited funds. so some of the stuff he had done was a little shady and flat out wrong. but i have got it going now and it does okay. the frame and all the extras that came with it are worth what i had to pay for it.
hope to start the conversion from the resistors and solenoids to a controller. thanks for the reply, hope to have many more and post many more pics as i try and transform this into a nice ride. Win,loose or tie bulldog fan until i die!!!!!!!! go dawgs!!!!!! |

Re: bulldog limo's first ride
lol go gators!!!! no haters here to each is his own.....
love dem dawgs though!!! good competition every year from the swamp things!!! i have been looking at his conversion kits on here. best i can tell i think i want to upgrade ( in the future ) to a 48 volt system with the push button f&r switch. looking at maybe the 700 controller i guess, i am still trying to figure out what is best for me. figured i would get my money up and get the controller switch over first, looking at giving him a shout when i do. Win,loose or tie bulldog fan until i die!!!!!!!! go dawgs!!!!!! |
