Default 86GatorClub under way

I am starting to take apart my 86 Gasser and I am really debating on a clone or find a Briggs motor. Seems with the clone there are to many unknowns on parts that will fit and what is the right fit. I just want this cart to go off road and still be able to hit 25 mph on the black top. Right now the cart is pretty much stock with a 6" lift and 22" tires. This is my 1st gasser to take apart and restore. Hoping it is as much fun as my 89 electric was. Keep in mind I only paid 800 for the cart to start.

New brakes are in, but I haven'thad time to put them on

Do your old headlights on the original red front cowl work? I might be interested in buying them. It's hard to find those smaller headlights that fit the pre-'92 front cowl.

Looking good!

I had purchased this same body (in yellow) and I'm curious if you'll have the same annoyance as I did. I found that the body was so clean and new that it squeaked where the body met the metal under the seat. It was on the sides where the body fits into the groove. I ended up have to periodically spraying a lubricant because it drove me batty!
