Nate's cart- Will continue to update
This is a cart I just picked up. I believe it is a 1989 Ez-Go TXT. Im going to try to keep this thread updated when I do new stuff to it. I think I got a pretty good deal, only $300 bucks. The cart didn't come with batteries.. so I didn't know if the cart would actually work or not. Thought I would take a gamble on it.
My father in law just bought brand new batteries for his old cart he is now selling. He ended up giving me the batteries for free. AWESOME! I looked around on the site for wiring charts and finally found the right one. (thanks to you guys) Spend an hour or so hooking the batteries up and replacing a few wires. BOOM! It worked! Gave her a quick rattle can paint job to clean it up a bit. Coming along pretty good. Things I want to do in the future: ~Head lights and tail lights ~Radio/speakers ~New upholstery for the seats ~New rims/tires ~A real paint job ~A real back seat ~Lift kit |

Re: Nate's cart- Will continue to update
Nice score on the cart! 300 with out the batteries is about right esp. if you didn't have to put battery trays in it! From looking at the cart, it appears to be older. I have an 89 and it's got the black cowl cap on it. If you look at the tag on the passenger side foot well it should show you a Manufacture code. the last 2 digits will be the year. here is the tag off of mine......
that may help with parts and other stuff. there are some changes between the 89's and the older models. Good luck with the cart and keep us updated on your progress. Arin |

that is a good idea. My pioneer has an ipod hookup... so I could do pandora through that as well.

That's my plan as well. I have spent a lot of time on pandora setting up my stations, I hardly ever have to skip a sucky song!
