Default Me and my dad finally finished our project cart.

Me and my dad just recently got into working on golf carts. We run a stereo/window tint shop on do a little custom work on the side. My parents bought a house in a community where everyone drives golf carts, so of course we wanted to build something that we liked and looked cool.

The golf cart itself is a 2010 EZ Go RXV 48 Volt. First thing we did was paint it a metallic gray. we also installed a 6" lift, with 23x10.50x12 tires with black wheels, with blue inserts (getting powdercoated right now so they arent on in the pictures.) Added a carbon fiber steering wheel, and carbon fiber dash with a pioneer stereo and 6.5" rockford fosgate speaker.s We chopped the top on it 3" and had the roof rhino lined. It also has a 20" LED light bar and an extra battery to run all accessories.

The trailer started out as a 1995 TXT. It was so rusted underneath that it was either scrap the whole cart or cut it in half and make a trailer. So we made a trailer haha. It has the same paint job as the golf cart and same wheels and tires. We added a rear seat to it and cut the battery tray out and added a holder for a cooler. The top is also an RXV top that we fabricated a frame for to make it sturdy. Overall im happy with how it all turned out, theres a few things i would do different next time around but for our first build, im really happy!

Have lots of pictures but will try to just show a few from the beginning and more of the finished product. If anyone wants to see the stages of the build let me know and ill post them.

Never apologize for pictures. We all love em. And the work you two did is fantastic.

Re-doing these carts takes blood and sweat and having your father along with you is an experience you two will remember every-time you ride her.
Please keep us updated on the NEW stuff we know you will add.
By the way I think ill put me an A/C duct over my work area!!LOLL

Great JOB

Thanks for the feedback guys, there has defeinetly been alot of blood and sweat put into this thing. Got a few more things done today.

Installed an extra battery on the trailer, and hooked up some underglow led's on it. Also have some for the cart but they arent in yet. Did a little more welding on the trailer to strengthen a few ares. And the final thing i did was add speakers to the trailer. Installed some 6.5 Rockford Fosgate's. Used a trailer plug extension, so that you can plug in and unplug the speakers when neccessary in case we dont want to pull the trailer.

Plug I used

WOW, very slick. In todays time, its hard to get a father & son project to happen. Like was said everytime one of you ride her, you can sit back and say. With pride of accomplishment yep my dad and i built her. Good job.
