Start Winter updates
Camping and fishing is done for the year, so here I go with the mods on the cart. Starting with rewiring part of the dash and adding a new stereo and amp. Has anyone ever put the amp under the seat before with any luck?

Re: Start Winter updates
Ok. I did get the new stereo and amp put in and it sounds great as long as the cart is not running. If I start the cart the stereo cuts in and out, why? don't know. Is the ground cable from the battery to the frame going to be Braden or copper? The cart is a 88 ezgo.

Re: Start Winter updates
Is your cart a gas? Im guessing so since you ask about a ground cable to the frame. Does it have just the primary cranking battery or two? Describe the cutting out i.e. is the head-unit or amp actually powering down and back on, are the speakers clipping at higher volume levels, etc. Does this happen in all modes like tuner, CD, MP3? What amp and speakers and how are the wired?

Re: Start Winter updates
Start it in the dark see if any sparks are flying. Also may need resistor plug.
