started my winter project
i started my winter project, its a 97 g16
i removed the body and pressure washed everything, amazing how much mud they will hold.I just ordered a jakes power kit, heavy duty rear springs, new diamond plate front bumper, steering wheel and cover. i am ordering jakes 6" lift with some wheels next week and a new rear seat with some led headlights and tailights, should make a great campground cruiser |

Once you have it lifted and setup you will never want to sell it or get off it. They are fun and it's great driving in camp grounds people turn heads. Most camp grounds don't allow gas carts keep in mind

Re: started my winter project
i will be fine with a gas cart, they prefer them because electric is included in lot rent so they dont want to charge everybodys carts for free, there is a couple lifted carts but nothing like this up there. cant wait to for spring

Just the noise, at least in Michigan anyways. Unless it's a state park then they claim then pollution and noise which is weird. But it is nice cruising to the beach on the cart loaded up with a cooler full of beer.

Re: started my winter project
You picked up a great cart to work on. G16 are one of my personal favorites. You should check out Plowmans "hot set up". Definitely a worthy investment, plus a lot of other aftermarket parts available.

Re: started my winter project
I put my lift kit on, jakes 6" and wheels and tires, I started the rear seat kit but couldn't finish because my garage is not tall enough. will have to wait till warms up so I can leave it outside
