Question Cart too nice for what I bought it for?

Hi guys, I am new and came to the forum looking for advice on which type of cart to buy and what would be a fair price.
As it turns out I bought a cart 2011 Yamaha 4 seater gas cart in great condition, with all sorts of extras. The tires are practically new, perfect custom rims, paint, matching seat covers, full enclosure with matching skirts, etc.
The engine is so clean you could eat off it not to mention it is a total creampuff all the way around.
I got it at a fair price, probably low for all the accessories it has on it.
Here is the issue that is troubling me. I will be putting it at a vacation rental property we own right on the ocean. My family will use it while we are there, but it is mainly for rental guests to use. I will have my housekeeper check the oil every week along with topping off the gas. I expect it will wind up with scratches here and there, but my main worry is the potential of rust/corrosion being so close to the ocean. So while I am happy to have bought such a nice cart at a good price, I think it might be too nice to let stay there year round outside, exposed to the salt air.
Now I am thinking about getting a quality cover for it when it is not in use, but I still suspect it will wind up rusting.

Any ideas or suggestions on what I can do to prevent rust/corrosion, and the general degrading of this pristine cart?

You can buy a spray on bed liner or undercoating and put it on the frame.

Not sure of the " quality " of your renters but I would have some kind of disclaimer in the agreement. Like age limit.. and cost if destroyed or damaged. I spent a good part of last weekend restoring a friends 2 carts after his boys and friends had been using them. So far in 2 years, a motor, a top twice and gave up, front axle etc etc.. This last time they tore the wire connector off the coil almost at the top of the motor.. Just sayin

Make sure that the reverse buzzer works, and that the governor isn't adjusted all the way in allowing max speed. I've read stories of landlords being sued by renters because someone fell off of or was backed over by a rental property cart. Not sure that there's anything you can do to totally ward off corrosion...

I do wish to get it undercoated, but will likely have a dealer do it. That said, I just don't want all the other parts to get corroded. It has matching seat covers to the paint and rain shield valances which are fabric. So I was thinking of using a spray like Aerospace 303 that is used for marine applications to protect bimini tops and vinyl seats, against the salt air.

This is a higher end place with renters paying a decent buck to stay there. Thus far I have had very little problems with the unit itself, so hopefully the same will hold true of the cart. Maybe it being so nice might cause them to take better care of it than a typical rental cart from a company.
I like your age limit disclaimer.
How on earth did all those things happen to your friends cart, like two tops needing to be replaced?

Everything on this cart works, including the reverse buzzer. It has regular lights, turn signals, third overhead LED brake light, two horns, etc.
I am in touch with my insurance agent about both liability insurance as well as what it will take to insure it's value.

I am willing to invest in a quality cart cover, but have no clue which one is not the cheaply made ones that offer little to no protection. I bought one for my car once that literally disintegrated in the Florida sun within 3-4 months. This despite it having a 5 year warranty.

So anyone who has suggestions about a cover, protectants to use, etc. is what I am hoping to hear.
Otherwise I might just sell this one and buy one that is more basic to where I do not worry about such a nice cart not being able to withstand the elements. Here are a few pictures

I would talk to your insurance provider about covering any unfortunate incidents involving the cart and your guests....

Vector, I asked the same question and the response was his boys could tear up an anvil so teenage boys I guess. He does have a really cool motocross track setup in his property so I may have to take one of mine over there to tear up

I just got a quote of $115 to have a Yamaha dealer use three cans of 3M undercoating on it.

Good question.
What do you mean by the whole frame?
