83 Gas EZGO "clean up"
So, the fun begins! It will be slow as time and cash come.
This is what I started with: 100_2605.jpg Starting to tear it down: 100_2613.jpg Stripping the paint off and practicing painting. The blue you see on the fenders is/was an experiment. I plan on removing the blue, prepping the entire cart, and repainting. I have alot to learn about "rattle-can" painting. I'm not looking for showroom.....I just wanted to clean it up a little. 100_2616.jpg 100_2617.jpg 100_2630.jpg |

Re: 83 Gas EZGO "clean up"
Whoa! It's been a while since I posted on here. Not much work got done on the cart over the winter due to lack of "heated" garage space. I finally found some time this past week to work on the cart.
Some of things I've done: - Replaced a bent front axle - Replaced both rear fender end covers - Replaced both rear fender flares - Replaced all rubber trim - Added new headlights and taillights - Stripped all the old paint off (Had to strip it off because of all the ()*&&^&$^ stickers that were on it from the previous owner). - Repainted in flat black - Bought a trailer to transport the cart Some things I need to do: - Replace/repair whichever one of the clutches is rattling and sticking - Clean up the engine and engine compartment - Add a stereo system - Replace the seats - maybe with boat seats - New tires all the way around - Maybe a lift? Here are some pictures. I will post a more updated pix the next time I get it out of it's new home (the trailer pictured below). |

Here's the most up-to-date picture. As I've said, there's still more to be done. I will update when I can!

Nice work. It's even more satisfying when you start from scratch.

So....it's only taken me 3 years to continue! LOL
Recently added a 5" lift and put some 23X11-10 on it. I am also in the process of building a top out of 1" EMT. Here's some pix...... |
