Default 2010 ezgo txt

I decided to install new wheels and tires (3rd time). My 2 previous sets were vipers, they were "out of round". Has anyone else had this issue with Viper tires?

My new tires are 12" EFX Low Pros with Fairway wheels...much better.

Sure are "purtie"!` Are the tires quiet?

Not bad, but I did not have too much to compare them to. The Viper tires were so out of round it wasn't even funny, all four, on both a sets. I initially installed 14" 205/30/14's, then I installed 12" 215/40/12's. So at that time I was more focused on round tires than quiet tires

I was kicking around the ITP's or the Low Pro's.

I had a set of golf pro's. Came on the wheels. They were round but very noisy. At 20mph they would howell. Hated them. Ran them for 2 years until they finally wore enough to justify new ones. They had a similar tread pattern as yours is why I asked. I just put on Duro's. They are a DOT tire. Very quiet. Very round. Hoping for better wear also. Down side is being a DOT tire the side walls are relatively stiff. They sharpened up the steering response as you would expect but ride is a little harsh. I'm experimenting with tire pressures now. Currently at 8 psi on the fronts, 22 psi on the rears. Problem is the front of the cart is very light.

the EFX low pros say DOT on the side. Currently I have all four tires at 15psi. My max speed is right at 19mph. I hear the motor more than I do the tires.
