Weird squeak front of cart
 

I’m getting a weird squeak from the front of my club car ds. It is lifted with a jakes a arm 6 inch lift. Seems when I start moving I hear squeaks. Last weekend we went off roading on some bumpy terrain and it wasn’t squeaking before. Can it be the shocks? Not sure if they were ever replaced, it is a 1998 club car. When I push down on one side on either side of the cart I hear it. The kit came with a hd front leaf spring so I believe that to be good.

the squeaking on the front end of these lifted carts can drive you batty when trying to get rid of them. I spray down everything on the front end of mine when it starts squeaking with the water hose. I'm not drowning everything under there, just a quick spray on every moving part or part that rubs together like the springs. I've tried the spray lubricants of every kind and nothing has worked better for me than just a quick spray of water. lasts for several days usually.

Not the answer you wanted I'm sure but if ya go off road with 'em they're gonna squeak. rarely squeaks if I'm riding pavement or other smooth surfaces.

I’m thinking that the shocks are shot too. I believe that’s where it is coming from. I gotta check all my stuff and I’ll try to spray it all down as well.
