2002 club car....... will only go at WOT but runs fine then.. quits as soon as you release from wot .... mcor ? thanks

That's not an 02, it's a 2001 Regen 2. It could be a controller or an MCOR problem. You can check the throttle signal at the controller from the MCOR. Flip it in TOW mode and unhook the battery pack from the system. Un-Plug the connector on the controller. Locate pin 7 and pin 8. Yellow/black and white/black will be the wire color. With your meter set to 20k ohms, touch the ends of the meter leads to the pins inside the plug and read your throttle signal. It should range from 6800 ohms at zero throttle to 1100 ohms at full throttle. If your MCOR is working properly, the controller has failed. If the MCOR is stuck at full throttle, it has failed...

hey dawg..... maybe Im not looking at the right thing but at controller the pulg has
these wires:
white/black stripe
yellow
yellow
blue
white
green/white stripe
orange
red
other side
red/blue stripe
green
blue
orange
purple
black

news flash.......... in trying to find the wires you told me about,,, I must have wiggled the right thing because now the cart will run at low speeds!!!! Loose conection at controller I assume ..Well at least thats one thing fixed 8) .. Thanks for the help dawg NOW what does regen 2 mean?

Cool. Regen2 is the name of the drive system. Also known as "PowerDrive Plus"
