96 volts in a golf cart

I was thinking about making my gas EZGO 6 passenger into a 96 volt electric. I already converted it to electric using a 48 volt Club Car system and rear end. There's enough room with the stretched frame to fit 12 8 volt batteries.
I would want to ride it at the atv parks. A few questions about this:

1. Would the range and torque be pretty good with this setup? Only need a 20 mph top speed...more is always welcome though.

2. What are my options for a 96 volt motor? Thought about a 6.7" EV motor mounted to a small 5spd car transmission but don't want to do the work right now. Is there a high voltage motor that mounts to the stock Club Car rear end?
Thanks!!

that's a lot of weight... would it really be better to go electric than to get a bigger gas motor? batteries = $$$$ and lot more weight.... i'd stick a motorcycle motor in it or atv motor

Yeah I'm still thinking. Lots of ideas rattling around up there. If only I hadn't sold the gas rear end for this cart...

has anyone stuck an atv type rear suspension on a cart? chain drive? my raptor's got a pretty simple yet effective swingarm type. little welding and such but i think it could work fine. motor would just need a sprocket. i'm big into atvs.. looking at getting a cart to tinker with very soon. i had an electric but it wasn't cutting it for me so made some $ off it and been looking for a gas one since
