Workhorse Belt Change

Can any one tell me why my '05 ST350 is shredding the primary drive belt? It rolls over on the rear pulley and cuts pieces off of the side of the v-belt. The first piece off scared the crap out of me when it hit the seat under side, made me spill my Red Stripe.:help:

Never mind...I changed the "V" belt and the drive belt with new, stock items. Performs like new.
