Custom rear swaybar EZGO TXT
Made a rear swaybar out of a TJ jeep Cherokee. The hoop section fits over the rear end and clutch perfectly and the ends extend out perfectly. All you need to do is shorten the ends and weld a sleeve. Made mounting brackets out of 1/4” and welded to frame. The rest of pics and measurements are in my gallery. Bought the sway bar from junkyard for $40 which included the mounts and rubber bushings. I brought a hacksaw and cut original end links off and unbolted. The new links are amazon and I think around $50.
Before when I put people in the rear seat it was tipsy on turns. Night and day difference. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/pictu...ictureid=28892 |

Re: Custom rear swaybar EZGO TXT
I may be asking for to much here......but I wonder if you could post some pic's that are not as "dark" and also show what you welded and where you welded it at.
I'm more of a "visual learner" than a "descriptive learner". My wife....the teacher....always tells me that and it must be true. Anyway....if you can that would be great.....if not, NBD. Thanks! |
