Melted FNR switch and wires

So I took the cart out to play in the rain and I guess I put too much stress on the FNR switch with the mudding and what not. The two lower wires on the switch actually melted right off the switch. I should have seen this coming as it's been finicky getting it to engage the past few days. My questions are.

1. Should I replace the whole switch for the hundred bucks or is it just the same to buy the new contact board and cam and rebuild it myself?

2. I obviously have to replace some wiring so I figure I'll just replace all the cables going into and out of the switch. Is it REALLY worth replacing EVERYTHING with 4 gauge for a stock cart or should I save myself the bit of money and time and just replace what is damaged?

Thanks! Do you by any chance know approx how many feet of cable is required to make all the connections? I figure if I'm gonna do it I may as well replace ALL of them.
