Default 19?? Cushman Truckster

Hello all,

I recently came across a Cushman Truckster, but unfortunately I know very little about them or it for that matter. I would like to restore it to a nice cart. I was hoping some outstanding forum members could take a look at it and tell me if I am getting in over my head with the cart. I tend to fly into ideas with blindfolds on. lol

I fell in love with my current cart and thought maybe a resto project could take up some of my evenings.

merci.

I don't know anything about the cushman cart, but like the idea of the cab on it.

I do have a cushman Van that I'm working on. Luckily it's in pretty good shape to start with.

The bolt pattern on the wheels makes it difficult for me to find wider wheels that will fit my application.

That does not look like cushman trucksters I have seen, and they were not based on a golf cart as that one appears to be. It could be some other model I don't know, but once worked at a place that sold cushman and took trades and the trucksters were not like that. The old 3 wheel trucksters have a rounded 50s look to the front end. They still have 3 speed shifters on the side of seat or the column and a clutch. Rear is like a car with the pig, short driveshaft to the trans/engine it was usually an opposed omc twin iirc.
