1978 Cushman CS 400 Golfster-What's it Worth
Hello, I am new to this amazing site. I am about to purchase a what I think is a 1978 (Based on Serial Number) Cushman CS 400 gas with 12HP engine. This is a one owner, very little use, stored inside cart. The paint is original and amazing, NO RUST, original tires (no cracking), the only thing missing is the golf card clip center piece. I have never owned a vintage cart. Had a couple of Club Cars several years ago before moving. Back to a nice little old local public course with great cart sheds and thought at 63 a vintage cart would be fun. My plan would be to use it on the course. What should one pay for something like this, the man is not giving it away. It runs great. What should I look for or look out for. Do these ride pretty well or very rough? Can they be driven and used as a daily / seasonal golf cart. My plan would be to do some personalization. Thank you for any help, there are several others in line and I have to pull the trigger soon. Sincerely, Chazuno

Re: 1978 Cushman CS 400 Golfster-What's it Worth
I have a 1975 Cushman Combo--and If I recall correctly, that was the LAST "Golf Cart" that Cushman made--so I have the feeling that the Golfster in question was made before that.
Is it the same cart featured here?: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l3VZpRKO_I |
