Harley Davidson 64D Points

Does anyone make an aftermarket point for a Harley Davidson 64D? Having a heck of a time finding one?

I haven't seen any but I would look at J&S cycles or old HD two wheeler parts dealers.

got a question related to this. Just bought a '79 Harley gc, (private seller),,gas. Won't go forward or reverse but the engine runs just fine. Shift lever moves and everything. Some one said it was the points/timing. Never heard of points/timing affecting forward or reverse? Can this be true? ps I got it for a song and I don't sing very well either....can anyone help me out here....xdrummer61 on gmail if you want....thanks ray

If the engine runs good the problem will be in the final drive. Drive clutch or secondary clutch. if those are working, then I would look at the transmission or possibly rear locking hubs (if equipped) not locked. Start with the drive clutch and work towards the rear wheels to check for not driving.
