Hahahaa..... That would be nice, but being Canadian made I doubt it, lol.

(Yes you were on the right track Gornoman)

I fully expected it to be some European cart when I saw the right hand drive

The lettering on the front was the name of the original owners ranch, at which it was purchased.

However..... I did find this plate on the floor area...... It made me giggle with the suggestion to hold the accelerator firmly to the floor and held in this position

Never found any information on this Scarborough company either
(Komar Construction & Development LTD, Scarborough Ontario)

Update...... I was able to find a little information from Vintage Golf Carts that I thought I would share. The quote below was from one of his friends in USA somewhere......

"My Envoy also originated with Electrical Canada Ltd. They referred to this model as their Hill n Dale and they also made a Fairway model. Its one that you climbed in from the front. They are unique in that the steering wheel is fixed on the right side. I'm pretty sure the company was one of the earliest makers and originated in Florida. I have some good info showing they were made at 17 John Street, New York, New York.*"

I have decided to sell this cart to a couple guys in Alberta who specialize in restoring old carts, so I know it will get the life it deserves. This way I can concentrate on building my other carts as well.

I will update this thread with any info and pics from their restoration though.

Cheers!
